Blue Beyond Launches Campaign to Ensure Young Conservatives are at the Centre of Rebuilding the Conservative Party

Young Conservative think tank Blue Beyond has launched their new campaign, Listen2Us. 

The campaign will focus on Young Conservatives being at the heart of rebuilding the Conservative Party. Encompassing all wings of the Conservative Party, the purpose of Listen2Us is to make sure the Conservative Party is able to recruit and retain activist talent, and create a good quality base of diverse, dynamic and talented candidates. The campaign is also working to return the Conservative Party to its core values, and become successful, thriving, and sustainable once again. 

Blue Beyond are asking CCHQ to: 

• Form a council of diverse stakeholders that would report into Party leadership, to review policy and internal party workings that affect members under 30. 

• Create a dedicated youth team within CCHQ, that would engage and nurture members under 30. With dedicated individuals to oversee safeguarding of political staff and activists. 

• Reinstate a dedicated Vice Chair for Youth to champion and represent Conservatives under 30, in regards to policy making and Conservative Party strategy. 

Built on polling conducted throughout the last few years and previous asks made, Blue Beyond is creating a Young Conservative centred campaign to work with CCHQ to ensure the Conservative Party is thriving and sustainable.

“The result on the 4th July was devastating but now is the time for a fresh start. Young Conservatives need to be at the forefront and centre of rebuilding the Conservative party.

“ Young Conservatives are the future, and the Party needs to ensure it does not alienate a whole generation of voters.”
